NUMA ECHOS comes back on November 15th, 2024 as official Italian resident DJ of “Postpunk Lovers,” Hungary’s best-known alternative music night series, during which she will select and mix contemporary postpunk, darkwave and new wave tracks that are danceable, expressive and sensual, focusing especially on Italian and Latin American bands without forgetting the most popular songs of the 80s.

“Postpunk Lovers”, conceived by Hungarian avant-garde poet Legéndy Jácint, will take place, starting in 2024, at 101 Club in Budapest. The series will focus, as usual, on underground music from the 80s and 90s darkwave, postpunk, gothic, and historical Coldwave bands without forgetting contemporary trends.

In the monthly organized parties, bands will perform live with their musical projects, and the most popular and interesting DJs or alternative artists will select the craziest records focusing on the mentioned subgenres.

Behind the audiomixer guests will see international and resident DJs from the Postpunk Lovers team, and as usual avant-garde poet Legéndy Jácint, known for his improvised dance performances in Berlin and Budapest, will adorn the parties with special performances.

The most extravagant faces of Budapest’s underground scene will appear in the audience. “Postpunk Lovers” promises to be an attractive situation for all those who want to immerse themselves in the city’s subcultures.
